Some updates..

Basically for my reservist for the past few days...



Wake up before dawn breaks at 0530hrs.



8th Jan
Had lessons, refreshers rather, on first aids, types of injury and stuff. Indent some essentials and seriously, camp food, although out-sourced still sucks. Left early as I have class.
Started the day at 0530hrs and slept around 0130hrs, shagged...





9th Jan
Had further lessons in the morning, did IPPT - which i failed. With much thanks to the sotong; bodo king everyone dread. Why me!? I thought, tough luck.



10th Jan
I teared...



For a good five minutes...



Stupid instructors make us stripe off our mask in the tear gas room. And by just reading out your I/C no, which takes no more 3 secs, tears welled up; throat choked; sweat beads bite. One of the guy even threw up, and yes, no tough one manage to withhold back his tears.

Just an idea how the CA (Chemical Agent) suit looks like, to be completed with the mentioned face mask and hood. Wanted to take photos but the mood was thawed by the aftermath of the tear gas exposure.

We will be required to don this costume for air bourne chemical agents, for example unknown gas exposure, or even incidents like gas leakage or exposure while attending to casualties.

Later in the day, I'll be having a full scale exercise at MTV (Mundai Training Village), exclusive to the SCDF (Singapore Civil Defence Force) only.

I miss work, be it the people, attire or even distance factor... One more day!
