Great service and Reservice

I was tasked to develop a roll of film for my relative yesterday urgently. Before work I walked into this small shop nearby my work place to get it done...

I went in and said, "Hello, can you develop this film for me please?"
The woman replied, "Ok, callect tomolo."

"Cannot, I need it urgently by tonight."
"Huh, but onli tomolo one leh. Can?"

"Cannot then never mind, thanks"
She grab the film in my hand and said, "Ok la, i lu for yew. Come take at 4, but why huh yew need it urgently?"

Ignoring her probing, I rebuffed her by saying, "Ok then, I will come collect later."
"Light yaw name here and yaw numba, need deposit."

I handled over 50 bucks and explained I don't have change. Without any reply she passed me 40 back.

*Inside of me was thinking, developing fee and per piece for a roll of 24 is never near 10. She said deposit, and collected 10?

"Ok, yew come at 4, if early I call yew" She seem please to close the transaction i thought as she hands over the receipt.

I was at work when I receive a call at 1.50pm...

"Peter? Machine spoil, can take other place to wash?

I stunned...

"Ello, ello, you there?"

I took a deep breath and said, "Ok then".

Almost like a machine gun, "Ok! You come collect now ah!" *Click, and the line went dead..

Of course, I wanted blow my top at her in person, but I didn't. I clenched my fist as I went to collect my stuff.

For those who know me well...

Of course I cursed and sweared about her, to myself. Lamenting the fact that, and eventually convincing myself she will get what she deserve. =)

*Feeling contented*

Off today, and having Reservice till saturday. AGAIN, the trips from Bedok to Boon Lay's Jalan Behar Camp reminds me the "Journey to the WEST", and they made this recall a stay out - meaning i have to travel from Bedok to Boon Lay everyday to and fro.
