One fine day..

"Class, please write down the Seven Wonders of the world that you know." Names just kept pouring in through the students at the class.. I was amazed when I scrolled through the website in look for current Seven Wonders.. Why? Read this..

Current Seven Wonders of the World
I) Pyramids of Egypt ii) Great Wall of China iii) Taj Mahal iv) Serengeti Migration v) Galapagos vi)Grand Canyon vii) Machu Picchu

Previously when I was younger, my teacher, together with text books told me Seven Wonders included the Pyramids, Great Wall, Taj Mahal, Angkor Wat, Leaning Tower of Pisa, Colosseum of Rome and one more I can't remember.. Maybe it's Nigara Falls.. (Ya, I do promote imperfect perfection remember? For not all thing comes good in all aspect)

Now, to add, they even have "Ancient Seven Wonders of the World".. And!! "Top 100 Wonders of the world".. And I only realized that the Seven Wonders are determined by votes nowadays, maybe previously the historian who named the Seven Wonders hadn't travel the world yet.. Maybe, just maybe.. Lol..

Ok, back to the class.. So eventually, the teacher had barely about ten over odd places of interest on the black board.. She said, "So.. I assume everyone have the same here?" A little girl at the end of the classroom put up her hand and said, "Teacher, I have got none compared to what you wrote on the board".. The agitated teacher paced up to her wanting to see her set of answers, and should she had a blank page she would have to stand outside the class for lazing..

The teacher stood with mouth stood in aghast.. The little girl peer towards the teacher, in return the teacher looked into her young student's eyes and saw the simple and innocence in her.. She felt a little remoseful for initially thinking that she was building castle in the air while the lesson was going on earlier..

The girl's list reads.. The Seven Wonders to me is 1) To see, 2) To hear, 3) To speak, 4) To taste, 5) To feel, 6) To be healthy and 7) To love.. Now guys, need I say more?

During the company's staff trip to Penang.. This short story came about.. (Got the idea but changed the content considerably) It touches my heart from within.. Humans are too realistic and superficial, always, if not often only think about the visual gains.. Fascinated by the front, believed what they see and not within.. Greatest beauty is from within, for outer beauty last no longer than a quarter of a century only..

*Quote of the day from me - Outer beauty don't last, inner beauty does..

Not often you come across someone who is complex and deep in thoughts.. *Hinting* Maybe till the cows come home, should you finally realized that the worthy one had long gone..

Been a while since I wrote a poem, ok.. Now one for all my friends out there who are not feeling good..

The sky was clear, yet a storm came to interfere..
The aftermath is hazy, and you stood there waiting..
A helping hand might come not, which would help you unlock..
You will have to paint your own rainbow, not by mere waiting under the window..

May all whom are down and out get a clear mind soon, will there be rainbow after the storm? The decision lies with you, and the future awaits.. *grins*
