It's good to be remembered..

This morning at 9.28am..

I recieved the sms from an overseas number starting from +62, weird i initially thought..

Scam? Spam? Mis-sent?

"Hai peter,is that u?i'm oka from bali.still remember me?how are u?"

After i replied..

"Thanks god,i tried 2 msg u since 2002 but always not working.i got 3 numbers of your no.never could be contact or msg.where do u work now brother?

Again, after i replied..

"u may visit me to bali.i'm working now.honestly i miss s'pore en all of u."

Then came the lastest..

"U're wellcome brother.i remember when we're in costa sand for my last day.(He really remember after all these years, even the name COSTA SAND)u said if i'll forget u after comin back to bali.in fact i never,so if u wanna say some thing,just email me to xxx@yahoo.com

Oka is one of the Indonesian trainees that I have trained, or guided rather, back in Suntec Convention Centre days.. I was part-timing there and eventually rose to Bar I/C, for there's no full timer..

The trainees would usually come over to Singapore for attachment for a period of between 3 mths to a year depending on their courses.. A good tie up i thought, Suntec get their far sure of cheap labour, and trainees get their required experience and dough..

Anyway, Oka's married and expecting his 1st child in one or two months' time..

It's really nice to be remembered.. And the never-say-die attempt since 2002.. I bet you guys would have give up? Or maybe, just an assumption, i left too deep an impression for him to forget? =)
