10 Q & As / Questionnaire

An attempt of a questionnaire after a century. Extracted from Phil's friend, Pirate's blog. I think the questions are rather unique and intriguing.

1. Something that you know you shouldn't do but do it anyway.
I like to challenge people’s intellect at times; so things that I might not know for sure, I give it a go anyway. I believe if you get it wrong, it will cuts a deeper impression and we tends to learn and remember it better. Being wrong is not a sin, instead it takes courage to be wrong. Also, it’s nice to find out some who rebuff purely for the sake of rebuffing or standing out, with no sound content or interest to debate.

Though I don't fancy Mr. Agree-it-all, but the former is more detestable. Had just proved that recently, and it's kind of testing to my patience, if i have any. Anyhow, just sit back, relax and enjoy the act while mentally it’s jotting down notes.

2. Something that you hate about yourself.
Inability to judge and respond accordingly. Sometimes I’m withheld and conservative, yet sometimes I’m upfront and open, to ill effect often. Oh, I think I hate my moment of impulse too.

3. A love-hate relationship.
For thinking ahead, drawing up must-dos and completing only a faction of it. Though it’s the prioritize ones, isn’t it better to fulfill them all?

4. Regrets?
Er… You know, this, this and that. She, she and her. Too many to mention actually.

5. Something that you REALLY regret.
Ok, that would be to lose my license in a spur of moment decision. Be glad though some regrets are reversible or amends could be made, some, live to regret… TILL you demise.

6. Xenophobic?
No names/ethic mentioned, however it does reminds me of friends telling, or rather complaining, to me who visited Hong Kong Disneyland – No, they didn’t tell me the fascinating rides or setting, instead how the neighboring countrymen would spit WHEREVER they go. Now, do the latter have a problem or WE have a problem?

7. Extremist understanding.
Normally people would go with the JIs or Al-something.

For pun: Perfect balance DON'T exist, so there bound to be tipping of scale, just how much. However, how much is too much? And how much is deem as extreme? Sounding the car honk at 3am for nothing/fun is extreme? There you go, an extremist.

8. Save the Earth.
For a start, let’s be all naked. Being back to basic, it means no more killing for fur and leather. If we manage to conquer skin deep, then let’s move towards being a vegetarian. Now I’m flirting with the idea of…

9. Are you a patient person?
I would like to think I am generally patient upfront with an internal short fuse. However, it seems that only towards family members or closer friends that I display my inner true bad self. Ironic, I know.

10. Ignorance.
As the saying goes, ignorance is bliss. It is tempting to know, but more tempting to share, given the ‘confidentiality’ and importance. Count me out please, I don’t need excess baggage, thanks.

On an ending note: Singlish, the way we speak! Kiasu, the way we are!
When we generalise others, we must remember we are being categorise too.

This was Rada's favourite smiley years back. Wonder if it's the same.
Things change, feelings change. People too?
