20mins past eleven and here i am, aching from shoulders to calves. A shame i couldnt get my off day swopped to today.. Oh well..
I finished my 10km run at a timing of 1hr and 10mins, pretty ok i think. My maiden run, after thoughts are that i'm somewhat drawn to the hype and buzz the event offer. Was just in time for the flag down at 7.30am at East Coast Park. Anyway my soles came off like the pair i wore to trekking at Sapa, Vietnam. Ming hao ask me to invest 150+/- bucks on a good pair from Asics.. Er, will see about that.. Went for soccer after that and was pretty lucky i didnt get any muscles pulled or strained..
Went for dinner at one of the seafood restaurant at defu lane, was pretty ok.. Price and glimpses of the dishes, check out my new link "hungrymania", a self-confessed hungry mama sharing her dining escapades.. Lack of dining ideas? Check the link out ----->
Partied at Vie bar for a bit foe the June babies before heading home at around half past 12.. Nice to see some old familiar faces joining us in Cher Boon, Angeline, Bryan, etc..
Anyway.. As the saying goes, you reap what you sow.. May i share with you guys a notion i came across online..
If...
If you plant honesty, you will reap trust.
If you plant goodness, you will reap friends.
If you plant humility, you will reap greatness.
If you plant perseverance, you will reap victory.
If you plant consideration, you will reap harmony.
If you plant hard work, you will reap success.
If you plant forgiveness, you will reap reconciliation.
If you plant openness, you will reap intimacy.
If you plant patience, you will reap improvements.
If you plant faith, you will reap miracles.
But...
But If you plant dishonesty, you will reap distrust.
If you plant selfishness, you will reap loneliness.
If you plant pride, you will reap destruction.
If you plant envy, you will reap trouble.
If you plant laziness, you will reap stagnation.
If you plant bitterness, you will reap isolation.
If you plant greed, you will reap loss.
If you plant gossip, you will reap enemies.
If you plant worries, you will reap wrinkles.
If you plant sin, you will reap guilt.
So thjink twice, if not trice, with what you plant/do now, for it will determine what you will reap/get tomorrow or in the near future. The seeds you now scatter, will make either improve or worsen your life; your love ones.
On an ending note, someday you will enjoy the fruits of your labour and, or pay for the opposites you plant today.
Have you reflect on your day yet?
