I was walking home till I saw a horde of people hogging the stairs. Impatiently I went the alternate route.
The first person from the group, a somewhat familiar face smiled and greeted me, "Hi, Happy New Year to you", followed by a handshake. I reciprocated with a smile and "Happy New Year to you too, Mr.Yeo."
Yes, it was Foreign Affairs Minister, BG (Brigadier General) George Yeo whom I crossed path with. Was it something worth mentioning? Seriously I don't know, just feel like marking it down and hope that handshake will bring me lots of luck.
Left: My bitch is so pretty, agree?
Right: New Sheng Siong at Commonwealth, note the innovative digital display. NTUC, time for you to step up!
My classmate and I was discussing about the Singapore Flyer, due to be officially open on 1st March. Currently it's already in operation for companies who prebooked per capsule at SGD8,800 per cabin or something, with each holding a max of 26 person I think. Real money marker.
The fact is, with the Flyer builded almost at the edge of the coast, will it topple or lost its ground? Verdict: Singapore Government would have already take into account this risk factor, most probably did experiment and test beforehand. Also, regular test are also expected to be scheduled, for I don't think our government will, in order cost, forgo safety precautions and gamble with the nation's reputation.
Now, tell me who's not proud to be a Singaporean. Time to hit the sack, tata~
