Ask iris

A couple of days ago I went to Chinatown to do some purchase. After I was done, I was waiting at the bus stop for the service CT18. This type of special service though conveying passengers from heartlands to Chinatown fast enough (through expressway and what's more, it stops at my dootstep!), the waiting time can be long. The crowd around me didnt help my mood abit too.

The moment came I have the urge to visit the loo. Thoughts raced inside of me, go toilet and relived and risk missing a bus - another minimun 30mins of wait; or simply "tahan" all the way home.

I was contemplating when my eyes chanced upon a notice by the bus stop, "Ask iris" it said. I heard about it, but never use it. So as per the instruction, i tried...

It took around 10 secs till I recieved a reply which says...

Bus stop 05013,Svc CT18 ,
NextBus: 12mins ,
Subsequent bus: 41mins.

Hence I went to the toilet, look through a small book fair and made some purchase, all thanks to SBS Transit and a cost of? S$0.05 - Cost efficient. And yes, the bus arrive on time.

The only downside is that this is only exclusive to SingTel mobile users. For the first time I'm happy to be one, geez...

What's happening today? Singapore Airlines recieved their second A380 today, they ordered a toal of 19, so 17 more to come. Operation route is still Singapore to Sydney, as the second A380 serves as a complement for the first, and double up for staff training purposes.

It's also good to know SOMETHING happening around us ya, before i end off let me share something rather amusing...


Finally she selects a lovely pink floral print.

The salesman then asks what size curtains she needs.

The blond promptly replies, "fifteen inches."

"Fifteen inches???" asked the salesman."

That sounds very small, what room are they for?"

The blonde tells him that they aren't for a room, they are for her computer monitor.

The surprised salesman replies, "but Miss, computers do not need curtains!"

The blonde says, "Hellllooooooooo .. . I've got Windoooooows!"
