End of the world 2012 Signs are present..

Had been trying to gather more information about this post for the past couple of days here we go.

Read an article previously about the possibility of the world coming to an end in a noticeable five years time in year 2012.

Mentioned and spoke with a few friends about this much hyped phenomenon, and received views of all kinds. However, majority played down the claims and mentioned about the possibility of A.D. Year 2000 millennium as the end of the world too.

Alright, our mentors don’t teach us to be skeptical towards views, so let us be open minded and look at the following worthy claims/facts which I feel might succeed in sway a few hearts:-

i) Maya Calendar – The Mayan calendars were derived from those of their predecessors, the Olmec, whose culture dates back at least 3,000 years. Without the instruments of 16th century Europe, these Central American locals managed to calculate a solar year of 365.2420 days, just 0.0002 of a day short. This is more accurate than the Europeans, not forgetting much earlier.

With its rich history, longer than any existing living thing, the Mayan calendar ends abruptly on December 21, 2012. What will happen after that?

You can visit the below link to seek some additional knowledge on the history of the origins of the Mayans. Apparently they are the ones what build the remarkable Pyramid too.

ii) Bible Code - The 1997 book The Bible Code claims that, according to certain algorithms of the Bible code, a meteor, asteroid or comet will collide with the Earth.

Also, Interpretations of the Christian Bible reveal that the date for Armageddon, the final battle between Good an Evil, has been set down for 2012. The I Ching, also known as the Chinese book of Changes, says the same thing, as do various sections of the Hindu teachings.

iii) Yellowstone National Park in the United States is famous for its thermal springs and Old Faithful geyser. The reason for this is simple - it's sitting on top of the world's biggest volcano, and geological experts are beginning to get nervous sweats.

The Yellowstone volcano has a pattern of erupting every 650,000 years or so, and we're many years overdue for an explosion that will fill the atmosphere with ash, blocking the sun and plunging the Earth into a frozen winter that could last up to 15,000 years. The pressure under the Yellowstone is building steadily, and geologists have set 2012 as a likely date for the big bang.

There are a couple more backings to suggest the demise of our current era, but I guess it’s boring you readers already, hence I shall stop here.

Another point is when one of my peers asked me, not bothering about is it truth or not, what would you do at that point of time?

I thought hard.. Suddenly I felt I’m alone..

Not physically, but spiritually alone, if only you got what i meant.. =)

Anyway, back to you peeps out there, what would you do at the blink of inexistence?
