How true it seems, maybe..

"Top 10 Creative Rules of Thumb" - Charles Chic Thompson:

1. The best way to get great ideas is to get lots of ideas and throw the bad ones away.
I'm quite ok on this..

2. Create ideas that are 15 minutes ahead of their time...not light years ahead.
Ok a lit' far fetch i can get at times, otherwise i'm realistic..

3. Always look for a second right answer.
Yes, i'm competent at finding lame/almost matching second answer..

4. If at first you don't succeed, take a break.
Took CBS in Accts while in NS; Camb adv dip in biz while working eons ago.. I didnt see out both..

5. Write down your ideas before you forget them.
I do, and i have a whole chunk of them sitting somewhere all around my home..

6. If everyone says you are wrong, you're one step ahead. If everyone laughs at you, you're two steps ahead.
Agree, it takes alot to be different.. Silliness is unique too.. Not the pack obligator..

7. The answer to your problem "pre-exists." You need to ask the right question to reveal the answer.
Often i assume some are self inflict problems..

8. When you ask a dumb question, you get a smart answer.
Likewise, we ask a serious question, and in return an answer in the light of lameness..

9. Never solve a problem from its original perspective.
Avoidance i believe the author/poet is trying to get at..

10. Visualize your problem as solvedbefore solving it."
Confidence raises our brain cells' efficency?

Above is an attempt to either be in sync, or contradict the quote of Charles C. Thomson.. Rather relative for most of them.. For line 6 i have a short notion i penned some time back.. I will go home and seek it and post it soon.. Exams over, and bless me to pass both please.. Law and info sys is up next, lessons resume in the coming week.. Last few days to let my hair down and party a little.. Cheers..
