Difference in culture, difference in thinking..

Had this thinking long ago.. Was too busy to give it a thought, but yet it resurfaced last weekend..
Here it goes, anyone knows that the so called "Handicapped" and "Mentally Retarted" here in our society is actually deemed as layman term to the westerners.. Why? You asked?
While we in Singapore stare with slight caution or disgust at these subjects, those in western countries especially European countries actually smile and greet them on as per normal while they overcome their disabilities in public, for an instance a wheelchair-bound rolling up a slope.. When we think trice about lending them a helping hand; twice about staring at them, others simply thought otherwise..
Wait, did i mention they're noted as "Physically Challenged" and "Mentally Challenged" in the western countries yet?
Saw via the internet there's an activity called Cable Skiing.. Anyone tried before? Had a nice chat with another supposed fairy tale being too.. (^-^) Still can't shake off the merger of names i create out of nowhere since i don't know when.. Lol.. Nine more days till i'm offically off, counting my days already..
